- The Proceedings of The New England-St. Lawrence Valley Geographical Society was published from 1971 until 2005, when it was replaced with The Northeastern Geographer journal. During the three and a half decades of NESTVAL Proceedings, 443 papers were published. These papers had 272 different lead authors, from 101 University/Colleges and also included 25 contributors from non-academic settings. During its years of publication, various individuals served NESTVAL as the editor of the Proceedings.
